That's a beautiful collection, with its characteristic ribbon around each model's neck =) / Muy linda colección, caracterizada por esa cinta plateada al cuello =)

Total-jean looks (that actually make me sick) Not that I’ve always loved JPG, but this is awful. mmm… didn’t like it at all./ Looks total-jeans (que, de hecho, me ponen enferma). No es que siempre me haya encantado JPG, pero esto es horrible. mmm... no me gustó nada.

however, i found those gabardines (that remind me of mr.gadget) kind of really nice =)!/ sin embargo, encuentro estas gabardinas (que me recuerdan a Mr. Gadget) muy cuidadas y lindas =)!

besides, i love posting these pics =) / muy pronto... chanel, gyvenchy, dries van noten, giambattista valli, Karl Lagerfeld, stella Mccartney, Yves Saint Laurent, comes des garçons, Yohji yamamoto... Sé que ya habrán visto estas colecciones gracias a style.com, u otros bloggers, pero me gusta pensar que les gusta mi punto de vista, hahaha ^^ además, adoro postear estas imágenes =)

last night i finished reading "The bridges of Madison County ".... what an amazing book. i totally reccomend it. i'll give you three great reasons to read it:
1st: it is a real story
2nd: it makes you shiver because of excitement
3rd: you will love Robert Kinkaid (and "the third person" they both create)

/ anoche terminé de leer "Los puentes de Madison"... qué libro tan increíble. Lo recomiendo fervientemente. les voy a dar tres razones para leerlo:
1º: es una historia real
2º: te hace temblar por la emoción
3º: vas a amar a Robert Kinkaid (y a la "tercera persona" que ellos crean)

Here you can see the “lingerie look” theme John Galliano wants us to wear next spring.

its colors went from whites and beiges to dark blacks, but we can also enjoy flour colours such as violet, orange, pink and red! / Aquí pueden ver el "look lencería" que John Galliano quiere que llevemos la próxima primavera. Sus colores van de los blancos y beiges hasta los negros oscuros. ¡Pero también podemos disfrutar de los colores de las flores, como el violeta, el naranja, el rosa o el rojo!

what I liked the most were the details, socks and shoes are great, of course, / lo que más me gustó fueron los detalles, zapatos y calcetines están genial, por supuesto

but I enjoyed specially purses and jewelry. / pero disfruté especialmente de los bolsos y las joyas.

Lanvin

volume and asymmetrical dresses are the main characters this season. Among blacks, creams and peculiar green and red, Lanvin offers a spring where we keep on tighting our belts (around the waist, of course) / volumen y vestidos asimétricos. entre negros, colores crema y característicos verde y rojo, Lanvin nos ofrece una primavera donde seguimos apretándonos el cinturón (a la cintura, eso sí).

(their faces scare me! they look so angry... :S) / (sus caras me asustan! parecen tan enojadas... :S)

Jewelry is essential in order to give the clothes life, though garments end up becoming jewells themeselves. / Las joyas son fundamentales para dar vida al conjunto, cuyas prendas acaban convirtiéndose en joyas por sí mismas.

Classical inspiration? i would say so. So many times models seem to be Greek sculptures / ¿inspiraciones clásicas? yo diría que sí. muchas veces las modelos parecen esculturas griegas con la técnica del paño mojado.

Ochre colours are also featuring this collection. / Los tonos ocre también son característicos de esta colección.

Plenty and plenty of details in each garment /Mucho, mucho detalle en cada prenda.

I would like to show you all spring 2010 collections in just one post, but i found it impossible to summarize them more than what i am already doing.
Anyway, i hope you've enjoyed "ready to spring?" part 1.
