That's a beautiful collection, with its characteristic ribbon around each model's neck =) / Muy linda colección, caracterizada por esa cinta plateada al cuello =)

Jean Paul Gaultier

Total-jean looks (that actually make me sick) Not that I’ve always loved JPG, but this is awful. mmm… didn’t like it at all./ Looks total-jeans (que, de hecho, me ponen enferma). No es que siempre me haya encantado JPG, pero esto es horrible. mmm... no me gustó nada.

however, i found those gabardines (that remind me of mr.gadget) kind of really nice =)!/ sin embargo, encuentro estas gabardinas (que me recuerdan a Mr. Gadget) muy cuidadas y lindas =)!

And coming soon... chanel, gyvenchy, dries van noten, giambattista valli, Karl Lagerfeld, stella Mccartney, Yves Saint Laurent, comes des garçons, Yohji yamamoto...
i know you've already seen these collections thanks to style.com, or other bloggers, but i like to think that you like my point of view, hahaha ^^
besides, i love posting these pics =) / muy pronto... chanel, gyvenchy, dries van noten, giambattista valli, Karl Lagerfeld, stella Mccartney, Yves Saint Laurent, comes des garçons, Yohji yamamoto... Sé que ya habrán visto estas colecciones gracias a style.com, u otros bloggers, pero me gusta pensar que les gusta mi punto de vista, hahaha ^^ además, adoro postear estas imágenes =)

last night i finished reading "The bridges of Madison County ".... what an amazing book. i totally reccomend it. i'll give you three great reasons to read it:
1st: it is a real story
2nd: it makes you shiver because of excitement
3rd: you will love Robert Kinkaid (and "the third person" they both create)

/ anoche terminé de leer "Los puentes de Madison"... qué libro tan increíble. Lo recomiendo fervientemente. les voy a dar tres razones para leerlo:
1º: es una historia real
2º: te hace temblar por la emoción
3º: vas a amar a Robert Kinkaid (y a la "tercera persona" que ellos crean)



so, please, read it and tell me what you think! By the way, i should to watch the movie, they say it's delightful... / Así que, léanlo y díganme qué piensan! Por cierto, debería ver la película, dicen que es genial...

Haute Couture

These days I've been watching couture collections Fall-Winter 2009, and i am sooo inspired. There were better and worse. I love Givenchy and Jean Paul Gaultier collections, they are impressive, every dress is a piece of art ♥ I felt like clapping. Chanel was also great =)
I'm sure you'll be sick of it, but i just needed to post my favourite looks:

Estos días he estado mirando las collecciones de alta costura para otoño-invierno 2009, y estoy muuuy inspirada. Hubo mejores y peores. Me encanta la de Givenchy y Jean Paul Gaultier, son impactantes, impresionantes; cada vestido es una obra de arte ♥ me dieron ganas de aplaudir. Chanel estuvo genial también. =)

Jean Paul Gaultier:
"Fashion... it's a movie?. Yes; life is a movie" /"La moda... ¿es una película?. Sí; la vida es una película"

Chanel:
“A girl should be two things: classy and fabulous.”/ "Una chica debería ser dos cosas: elegante y fabulosa"



Givenchy:
"I am delighted to be able to bring my vision to this prestigious French haute couture house, whose history inspires me,"
/"Estoy encantado de ser capaz de traer mi visión a esta prestigiosa casa francesa de alta costura, cuya historia me inspira"


Christian Lacroix:
"We all look for lost time." /"Todos buscamos el tiempo perdido"

Although his collection was made with very little money, and very little time, i liked it a lot. (exept from the last dress). /Aunque su colección fue llevada a cabo con muy poco dinero y poco tiempo, me gustó mucho. (exepto por el último vestido)

Now, however, it's summertime, so it's time to wear nice light dresses, lovely sandals and big straw hats. Have a nice weekend =)
