Once Upon a Dream...

Hello! I'm sorry it's been so long since the last time i wrote here. Well, yesterday night i went to the audithorium in order to see one of my friends dancing ballet. So this morning i was on the mood to watch Sleeping Beauty. After enjoying a beautiful time with its perfection, i felt i had to post some of it here.
I consider every scene, every second and every image of it as a piece of art.

The first time people could enjoy the movie, it was 1959, when the animation world was so different from now.

Walt Disney wanted perfection for the movie, and so only 8 pictures were finished a day, however they are needed 24 in order to make onw second.

I cannot imagine how much effort they had to make, but i know the movie was extremely expensive and they were working for 9 years until they finally finished.

Malefica is my favourite Witch ever! She's so evil, but so elegant and... i would even say polite!

Anyway, to my mind, it was absolutley worth it.
Sleeping beauty reminds me of the exposition with the same name which is in The Prado Museum. I felt in love with this particular painting. You shoould go to see it [its light is amazing, i'm sorry that photos aren't even close =( ].

Hola!

Necesito bikinis!
Canción actual: Tiny Dancer- Elton John
Que tengan una semana encantadora. Vovleré a postear pronto.

Peace and Love,

Penny Lane ♥

yes! Heart of Glass is because of the song. I like Blondie & I love Debbie Harry, because she's from the same place I live in (in New Jersey), and when i was trying to find a blog name that's the first thing that popped up! Heart of glass ;]

I haven't seen this film in years and years. It was never one of my favourites but I love the fairies.

Its truly beautiful! By the time they did the movie they painted every screencap but now they dont thats why the other Cinderellas movies has been so crappy!
I remember a part where the prince said to his dad: Please father we're on the 14th century
I laughed a lot...
About the image you liked from my header here you can find the full size verssion and others as beautiful as it!

alice in wonderland is one of my favourites, along with this movie too, although i had no idea how meticulously they worked!
but it truly is art.

I haven't seen this in so long, I miss Disney :) The aunts I remember were so cutely done and funny, especially the cute dresses and the voices.
